Red is not a color I normally gravitate towards. However, I’m loving all the dresses that come out in February in honor of Valentine’s Day. Feminine prints and colors cover everything from purses to phone cases. In the photos I’m wearing a dress from Ann Taylor Loft that has since sold out. I’ve scouted the stores for you guys and found the cutest dresses for Valentine’s, Galentine’s, or Spring. [or just because!]
Below I’ve created 4 looks to inspire you this Valentine’s Day. I used similar shoes in all the looks. I never want you to need to buy a new item every time in order to recreate a look. Try to find items in your closet that you already have, and make it your own!
Valentine’s Day Outfits
(Valentines’s) Pink Flamingo
This adorable and fun off the shoulder dress comes in a beautiful flamingo pink and a variety of other colors. [I am loving this color though!] I paired it with this Sam Edelman nude heel, but depending on the occasion you could wear flats. Here’s a pair of strappy heels similar to the picture if you live in more of a warm climate. You should always own a pair of nude heels, they go with everything [from jeans to dresses]. I also added my favorite sandals – the Tory Burch Miller. Then I included rose gold earrings and this bracelet to complement the pink.
Roses are Red
If your Valentine’s plans include a night out at a nice restaurant for dinner, this is the look for you. This dress is so fun and flirty. The dress also has cute little cutouts on the sides, right where her arms are. [Click the link to see!] Again I paired the nude heels, but I switched up the jewelry. These pearl earrings include that extra something with the gold accents. And this thin gold bracelet is the perfect dainty accent to your wrist.
Feminine Flair
I’m sure you’re sensing my theme here…and I love open lace overlay on the skin. This dress comes in a lovely light pink [and also comes in white and light blue]. It looks great dressed down with the sandals or dressed up with the nude heels. I paired the dress with these Kendra Scott drop earrings and added this chunky crystal bracelet. With this look, you’re sure to sparkle!
Ruffles & Tassels
My final look is more casual, and is perfect for a daytime daye [or any day for that matter]. I’ve added these skinny jeans that have some ripped details, and this top with cute ruffles on the sleeves. I paired it with the same sandals as before, but you could always wear some cute sneakers with it as well! I added these pink tassel fringe earrings that add to the feminine flair.
And there you have it! My four looks for Valentine’s Day or any day that your heart desires. I hope you enjoyed this list and it gave you some inspiration.
