Sometimes you just can’t turn off your brain. You lay there in your comfy cozy bed, eyes shut, wide awake. You look at the clock. Only 6 hours left now until you have to get up for work. It’s gonna be a rough day tomorrow.
Does this sound like you? Rather than taking pills or sleep aids like Tylenol PM or melatonin (which knock you out but don’t really give you a rested sleep), try essential oils! There are so many oils that are great for sleep, and combining them makes for a great smell and a good night’s sleep. I have one, in particular, that smells like a cabin in the forest, and it honestly takes me to another place when I smell it. This is my go-to for those restless nights and it works like a charm!

There’s a number of ways to use them! I personally diffuse them in my room at night. But you can also rub the oils mixed with coconut oil on your wrists or temples of your face, or even make a chest rub! Any way that allows you to smell the oils so they get into your system.
