I personally love reading and watching monthly favorites, but I always forget to write my own! The month always gets away from me. Well not this month! Today I’m talking about my march favorites, from beauty to fashion to lifestyle.
Beauty
Starting off with brows – if you read my post on the best brow products, you know I was obsessed with Boy Brow by Glossier. I’m still obsessed! I am scraping at the tube though…it’s almost time for a new one. I wear it in the shade “blonde.”
My second beauty favorite is Farmacy’s Honeymoon Glow. This product is a three-in-one night serum that resurfaces, hydrates, and clarifies dull skin while you sleep, formulated with a 14 percent AHA/BHA/gentle flower acids blend. If you follow on me on instagram you should know by now my love for Farmacy – and I plan to do an updated skincare routine with it! My skin has been doing weird things with texture lately but I can always rely on this product to smooth out everything out.
March is that weird in between time where you want to be tan, but for many of you it’s not warm enough to be by the pool or at the beach. That’s where my self tanner favorites come in. My two loves are Loving Tan Self Tan Mousse for my body, and Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Drops (or Water). Loving Tan is my favorite when it comes to self tan, because the undertone matches the best. Honestly I think this undertone is the most versatile, because it’s not overly red or green based. That means if you give it a try, I’m 90% sure you’ll love it! I use ultra dark (which sounds super intense I know) but I find it’s the perfect level of tan, and I’m a medium shade complexion naturally.
I use the self tanning drops, but they also have a water spray, depending on your preference. The drops you mix into your usual nightly moisturizer, and the water you spray on your bare face like a setting spray mist. The choice is up to you! Both give a nice even tan, and it comes in 3 different shades. I use medium for skin-tone reference.
The last beauty pick I’m gonna share today is dry shampoo. I’ve been loving Briogeo’s Scalp Revival Dry Shampoo. I’m living for this because it saves me from having to wash my hair everyday. I’m in the process of training my hair to go longer, I’m up to 4 days max right now, but it’s a process! If you’re looking for more detail on why I’m doing this, and how to use dry shampoo, check out my post alllll about dry shampoo.
Style
Be sure to check out my spring shoe picks for my favorite shoes of the season. I’ve been wearing the wedges non stop! They look good with everything from shorts to dresses.
Next on the list is these mom jean shorts from American Eagle. I’m living in them and loving it. Ladies, I am apparently the proud owner of a “Mom Bod.” When I found these and tried them on I was hooked. YA GIRL IS SET FOR SPRING. Because of course I bought them in 3 different colors. One of which is light denim as seen above (I’m trying to learn to love light denim.)
If you have a small waist and a booty, I recommend you give them a try. Shop them in the carousel below. They’re on sale! They also have some super cute paper bag style shorts, and some with little flowers embroidered on too! PERFECT for spring.
I snagged this amazingly soft and adorable cropped sweatshirt from The Darling Detail’s new clothing launch! But here’s what really matters to the heart: every single product sold employs female survivors of trafficking, abuse and addiction – via a Gospel-based nonprofit, Sanctuary Project. It’s perfect for lounging around the house or a quick errand, I even paired it with some leggings for the gym!
Life
If you didn’t know the Jonas Brothers are back together, and that means of course, their new song “Sucker” is a bop. So if you haven’t looked at the top 10 list in the last 2-3 weeks, you’re missing out. You’ll catch me on the treadmill jamming to this as I warm up at the gym that’s for sure!
I’m obsessed with all Luke Combs right now. Enough said.
