Spring is my favorite season. The weather is perfect, it’s my birthday, and pastels are everywhere. I also live for dresses, so when spring dresses come out in stores it’s a good day! And with spring dresses come spring shoes!
This year’s shoe trends for spring are slider sandals, wedges (as always), and sneakers for all you street style girls. It’s become a whole look to wear flowy spring dresses and pants style rompers with athletic sneakers. I’ve selected mostly tan colored versions of these shoes to show in the pictures, but the majority of them come in lots of different colors. Be sure to click through and find your favorites!
Spring Sandals + Flats
A girl should always have a pair of nude sandals or flats. This type of shoe works with pretty much anything. This is one shoe I like to invest in because I want it to last. My favorites are Tory Burch Miller Sandals, and they last me a few years. They are expensive up front but they’re made well and look good with 98% of my closet.
Below I’ve linked some of the cutest options out there when it comes to shoe trends for spring! I picked a good range of prices from affordable, to a splurge, and I selected brands I personally love and trust the quality. Example A: I’m keeping an eye on the Chloe espadrilles linked below. They’re expensive but they’re so so cute!
Sliders are also really big this year. I think the tan ones from Soludos and Sam Edelman are perfect, but I have a narrow foot and these don’t always work for me. If I find one that works I’ll keep you posted on instagram! Be sure to follow me for shop-with-me type stories, outfit ideas, and even more beauty tips.
Spring Wedges + Heels
Last year I purchased some adorable wedges from a brand (I won’t name it, because their other shoes may be great, but this style was terrible). They were extremely uncomfortable to break in, and they didn’t even last me a year. I ended up having to glue the strip of leather that covers the sole where your foot touches multiple times. It was no bueno.
This year I’m personally eyeing the Soludos wedges. I wanted them last year but I had already purchased the shoe-that-must-not-be-named above. If you didn’t snag the Treasure + Bond dupe for those coveted (and esspessiveee) Marc Fisher wedges last year, they’re back and still in style!
Spring Sneakers
Now as you can probably guess from the general vibe of my posts, the street style look is not my go to. I have days where I’m feeling it, but most of the time you’ll find me in ruffles and scalloped edges. That being said, I selected a few sneakers I spotted as great options from the hottest shoe trends for spring.
The Adidas Allstars are a classic – you can’t go wrong with those. And if you’re into the chunky sneaker, try out the ones from Steve Madden. I also picked the Nike pair because they had a pop of pink, and that totally goes with spring!
